CHICAGO — The Bears were able to end two streaks on Sunday afternoon, and their quarterback was at the center of ending both of them. With the help of his teammates - and a number of family members - Tyson Bagent was able to enjoy his moment in the sun at Soldier Field in his first NFL start. "I felt like I had the team, my family, kind of really rallying behind me, giving me a lot of support this week, which I think gave me all the confidence in the world to go do what we did today," said the rookie quarterback after the 30-12 win over the Raiders on Sunday. BURNET COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) -- A new Meals on Wheels kitchen is opening in the Hill Country. Meals on Wheels, powered by Opportunities for Williamson & Burnet Counties, announced the grand opening of its new Burnet County location, which is at the Senior Center on Highway 281 in Marble Falls. The location will be the Meals on Wheels kitchen and congregate site for both Marble Falls and Burnet residents. According to OWBC, the kitchen served more than 260 seniors with over 45,000 meals last year. CLAYTON, Mo. -- The officer charged with firing multiple shots into the air during a trunk or treat event is no longer employed by St. Louis County. Matthew McCulloch, 39, pleaded not guilty to 11 counts of firing shots into the air at the family event in Kirkwood on October 15, 2023. St. Louis County Police say that, "as of October 19, 2023, Mr. McCulloch is no longer employed by our department."The shooting took place at a Halloween-themed event held at North Kirkwood Middle School for Tillman Elementary School students. McCulloch faces 11 charges, including child endangerment and making a terrorist threat. Investigators in El Monte have launched a probe into what led up to the deadly stabbing of a woman on Sunday evening. According to the El Monte Police Department, the stabbing appears to have taken place on a lot with multiple homes in the 11000 block of Ranchito Street. A man was fatally shot at 14th Street Park in Long Beach Sunday afternoon, and police are asking anyone who was at the park to come forward and help them identify the shooter.The man, 33-year-old Thomas Ferguson of Fontana, was at the park at about 2:30 p.m. when he was shot multiple times in the upper body, the Long Beach Police Department said in a news release.
